For who knows what reason I didn't switch Stantler, and Haunter used Mean Look. Electrode luckily used Thunder, and Stantler managed to overcome paralysis and bring it down. I was thinking it would self-destruct, but I had no Pokémon to take the attack, so I went ahead with Take Down. It used Screech on Stantler, and I used Stomp. Stantler used Astonish against Drowzee, making it flinch. I got into a fight with Eusine in Cyanwood. I feel weird about putting another Gyarados on the team right after Kitty died, but maybe I'll put the red one in later, because the synergy with swampert was really incredible.Īlso I started running out of Teen Titans names so now it's just any DC characters. Fearow is an HM slave until I can get that sweet Snorlax.
Drapion would've been OHKO'd by Hydro Pump had I not attached focus sash, and took out Starmie with night slash, but then died to vaporeon to net a safe switch for Sarasim to KO with specs energy ball.īooster Gold the Electabuzz is looking good though (but it's a -atk nature so I think he's going to be mixed). I got a switch off with perish song after taking a LOT of damage but Kitty, who was badly poisoned and had already taken ice beams, couldn't take out Starmie with a +2 strength, resulting in her demise as she took a thunderbolt to the face. Discharge did 40% of her health (on top of chip damage before that) and paralyzed leaving sarasim useless (until she took out Misty's vaporeon). I could've definitely avoided the losses had I switched out Sarasim from Lanturn. Moon had some close calls (and I really have nothing for Kingdra) but I lucked out that he sent out Kingdra last so we had Saico-Tek take it out with Perish Song and switching. Onix lived with a sash but what the fuck was Onix going to do? Slapped an exp share on Sarasim the Lotad and went to Brock's, OHKO'd everything on his team with Trident's banded EQ.

A trainer's slaking used counter and OHKO'd Red Star from full health, which was really frustrating because i like extremespeed but oh well. We lost Red Star the Dragonite on the route above Vermillion. When Haunter came in, I just switched to Butterfree and Psybeamed it to death. Luckily Gengar got into a bad streak of hitting himself, allowing Stantler to Astonish him to death. I ended up using a Hyper Potion (against my no items rule) only because Morty had done it earlier with his Haunter (and because of the bullshit odds he was pulling with Hypnosis). A 30% chance to land Hypnosis at the right time, and he did it THREE CONSECUTIVE TIMES.Īstonish just wasn't enough to quickly take him out, and the fucker even had a Berry on him. This means that it landed Hypnosis right when it needed to land (that is, when Stantler woke up). Gengar did this two or three times (I don't even remember now). I use Confuse Ray, and OF COURSE he always manages to land Hypnosis on me, bypassing the 50% chance of hitting itself and the 40% chance of missing Hypnosis. So much for confusing him and switching Pokémon. It's faster than Stantler it turns out, and uses Mean Look. Then it takes Astonish two more times to finish it. I'm about to kill it when Morty uses a Hyper Potion. Astonish wasn't enough to OHKO Ghastly, and it used Spite. Turns out things never go according to plan.įight started with Stantler, alright.
Training Butterfree was a pain in the ass. Start up a rom of your choice (or legit game if you're that guy) and start up a run so this thread can actually last more than a dayīeat fucking Morty, finally. nzg/ Nuzlocke/Nuzgen ELECTRODES ALSO PRACTICE ISLAM edition
